Vindman Was Fired So What

Anyone who has worked any job for any significant amount of time, knows you can be fired for any reason. The boss doesn’t need to give you a reason. If you live in the real world, you know people who were let go. Perhaps you were let go from a job that you gave your 110% to. Sometimes you get a reason, sometimes you do not. The boss is not obligated to say anything to make you feel better on the way out the door. That sounds harsh but it’s true. Especially if you are in corporate America, then you know this to be true. Just the past couple months I have seen people I work with let go, with no reason at all. The conversation usually goes something like this.

We no longer need your services, so goodbye. By the way, today was your last day. Security will collect your laptop and escort you out.

In a normal day job you can only hope to do your level best. You go in, you give your all, and you hope that your dedication ensures your continued employment. When you are speaking in terms of being an Ambassador like Sondland, or if you are on the NSC like Vindman, then your best isn’t enough. It’s a team, and the team has a coach who’s name is Trump. You either play on the team, or you get off the team. When you participate on a team, you are there to carry out the coaches’ agenda not your own.

If you worked at any Company and disobeyed the stated rules of the company you would be fired. The situation with Vindman and Sondland isn’t any different, yet the media has gone out of their mind over it as usual.

Everything Trump does no matter what it is, somehow is a big deal. We have a saying in my line of work, and it goes like this.

If everything is a Severity 1 issue, then nothing is a Severity 1 issue.

Bottom line, if you complain about every single thing Trump does, the complaining loses it’s impact. When you become chicken little, then your whining becomes white noise that hits the spam filter of every Americans brain.
