Freedom is not Free

Freedom is not free, but blood is not always shed to secure it. We are at war but not all wars are fought with guns or Marines. Sometimes a war can be fought with pens and lawyers. The Generals who lead wars are not always in the Military, and the people who fight them can sometimes just be normal citizens. Our Veterans are our heroes, but not all heroes are Veterans.

Sometimes a General can look like Rudy Giuliani, Jenna Ellis, Lin Wood, or Sidney Powell. Sometimes the troops who fight the battle are just normal people who tweet or attend a PEACEFUL protest in order to support and motivate their President to keep fighting.

Make no mistake though we are approaching fork in the road of our Republic. Do you want to continue to be that Shining City on a Hill that President Reagan spoke of? Do you want to be something much different? Do we really want to wake up one day, weeks, months or years from now, remembering what is used to be like when men and women were free?

Do we really want to live in a nation where the people who hurt others are emulated, while the police who protect us are hated? Do we want the government to control and provide everything for us, or do we just want them to allow us to step out of the way and let us pursue our dreams and be free?

Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one. – Thomas Paine

When Government provides all, they can take all away. Do you want your government to have the power to control your ability to pursue happiness? The Bill of Rights were added to the Constitution with a specific idea. Certain things are granted not by man or government, they are endowed to us by our creator. If it’s given to you by your creator then neither man nor government can take it away.

The rights are absolute. Freedoms of Speech, religion, and the right to bear arms are absolute. There is a reason those are the first 2 listed in the Bill of Rights. The founders did not make mistakes, everything was with reason, even the ordering of the Bills.

So I submit to you we are at War right now. Our way of life and what our founders envisioned us to be is under attack. An attempt at Coup is underway and directed at our President. The choice of a free people to elect and choose our representation is absolutely in question.

The battlefield is not a field of grass or a bridge, instead it’s a court room. This doesn’t make it any less serious. It doesn’t make the fight less consequential. Free men and women must be heard. This does not
